How to install

Download the manifest

Click the Download manifest button at the top of this page to save manifest.xml to your computer.

Open PowerPoint

Open any PowerPoint presentation on Desktop.

Upload the manifest

Click the Insert tab in the ribbon, then Get Add-ins. Choose My Add-ins → Upload My Add-in and select the manifest file you downloaded.

Find it in the ribbon

SnapBack appears in your Home tab. Click to open the panel — it reads your master template automatically.

For teams

Ask your IT admin to deploy the manifest via the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre. SnapBack appears for everyone with no individual install needed.

For InfoSec and IT

Nothing leaves PowerPoint.

SnapBack runs entirely within PowerPoint. It reads your master template and applies formatting changes to the open slide — that's it. No data is sent to external servers, no slide content is transmitted anywhere, and nothing is stored outside of PowerPoint's own memory.

The add-in is a hosted web app served over HTTPS from Vercel. The only external call it makes is loading the add-in interface itself when PowerPoint opens it — identical to loading any internal web tool. Once loaded, all processing is local.

No slide data transmitted
Slide content, text and images never leave PowerPoint. All formatting logic runs in-memory inside the add-in.
No AI or third-party processing
SnapBack uses no AI models. It applies deterministic formatting rules — no content is analysed or interpreted externally.
No persistent storage
Nothing is written to disk or stored in the cloud. Changes are made directly to the open PowerPoint file in memory.
Standard Microsoft deployment
Deployed via Microsoft 365 Admin Centre — the same mechanism used for any approved Office add-in. Full IT control over rollout and removal.
HTTPS only
The add-in interface is served over HTTPS with standard browser security. No special network permissions or firewall rules required.
